LMT, BS NSB, Health Coach
Shantel has a passion for health and wellness and a desire to be of service to her community. Shantel studied massage therapy at Great Bay Community College where she trained in myofascial release, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and sports massage. Shantel blends these modalities along with ancient healing techniques such as aromatherapy and cupping with intuitive components that create a unique massage intended to relieve pain while inviting relaxation and restoration.
Additionally, Shantel has a range of experience with the human body. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Neuroscience and Behavior, has completed multiple trainings in mindfulness education, she is a Certified Holistic Health Coach, and a HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) Practitioner.
Shantel has been working in the wellness industry since 2014 and assists clients through a lens of bio-individuality. She understands that each person has unique experiences, environmental exposures, mineral profile, and activities of daily living, which create unique internal environments causing people to respond differently to certain nutrients, stimuli, and chemicals, which means there is not a “one-size-fits-all” approach to health.
Her “non-cookie cutter” approach begins with assessment of client goals, stress levels, lifestyle and postural patterns to identify imbalances in the body and create personalized therapeutic treatment plans.
